In the mist of political volunteering and organizing and work comp hoop jumping we took a day out to play.
We met up with two other MINIs Buzz the yellow MINI behind Shelly and Denise and the red MINI behind Karen, Dustin and Georgia. We then adventured out to Winnebago to meet three other MINIs including at limited edition GP, our friends Patricia and Steve with Norbert their british racing green MINI and our caboose for the day Dan in his british racing green MINI. 
We then motored on to Lorraine to the Slurp and Burp and two more MINIs joined the group and we were off to Galena.
We were the 4th car in the group .. this was our view from the boot ..
.. and this was our view from the bonnet .. including the lovely yellow butterfly .. there were thousands of these fluttering around.

The day was perfect weather wise, Maddie handled the roads like a dream, we had a lovely lunch and shopped just a bit in downtown Galena with Steve and Patricia before meeting most of the MINIs for a photo shot and the return home for us and more motoring for the MINIs staying for the whole weekend event.

What an awesome ride you had! And the weather was amazing. Were there many heads turning at the MINI parade? Couldn't help but notice you weren't in any pictures! You have to stop being so camera shy! :)
